And had their babies. Their culture’s influenced by the Malays, Indians… and Europeans. Therefore, a unique Peranakan culture’s formed. As for their descendants, the men are called Baba, and women are referred to as Nyonya. I’m going to tell a story about a Nyonya. That’s also the story of my family.
