Why don’t I try to recreate it ? It’s very similar. It’s almost 70 to 80 percent alike. But the feelings are very different. It looks the same to me. Shi Yi’s painting is more like the last lotus flower at the end of the summer. Cold and distant. While Chen’s painting is freer.
It’s more like the fresh lotus flower in a green pond at the beginning of summer. My eldest brother is a fresh lotus flower passionately waiting for his partner to blossom. So he is waiting for Shi Yi. Is it similar? Yes.
