Creating a show about firefighting [Director – Zhang Li Chuan] was a big challenge for me. [Producer, Scriptwriter – Han Pei Jun] It was quite difficult. [Gong Jun as Huo Yan] It was different from the previous shows I’ve filmed. [Producer – Su Ming] There is love that comes from this danger.

[The Flaming Heart: Behind the Scenes] They play the bravest people in times of danger. [Sincerely portraying the lives of firefighters and doctors] We spent about one week living with firefighters.
[The actors experienced life as firefighters ahead of time] Ready, go! [Firefighting coordinators trained the actors professionally] It’s tough to be a firefighter. [Zhou Ling Jia as Liu Xuan] We had very excellent rescue teams that trained us. [Medical professionals trained the actors] You have to hold your hands away from yourself.

Where we climbed and rescued someone by rope. It was really difficult. [Wang Zi Wei as Jiang Tong] The directors said I spun about fifty times. Fourteen! After I sat down, [Wang Zi Wei as Jiang Tong] I still felt like I was spinning. They truly got into characters

[Chose over 100 live locations to film in] [Producer, Scriptwriter – Han Pei Jun] We used about 150 bottles of oxygen. [All equipment came from the fire station] He’s out of oxygen! We tried to film a show about modern rescue missions that is realistic and doesn’t rely on special effects.
[Producer, Scriptwriter – Han Pei Jun] We had the support and help of the Jiangsu and Nanjing firefighting teams. [Director – Zhang Li Chuan] To create realistic smoke, we light asbestos on set. [Pang Han Chen as Luo Jie] Both the fire and water were real. It was actually burning.
It felt both thrilling and exciting. That was so scary. Put out the fire! [Sincerely honoring those who save our lives] The audience will feel [Zhang Hui Wen as Yan Lan] the love and trust between strangers. [Zhou Yan Chen as Wang Da Yin] I truly learned what it means to serve the people.
We want to show the spirit of helping protect people [Pang Han Chen as Luo Jie] that firefighters have. The intention of this show [Producer – Su Ming] is to honor our firefighters. We have to do this realistically. [Gong Jun as Huo Yan] It’s a very honorable job. Breathe out slowly!
